    I am considering a laptop model number VPCCW22FX. I am assuming this is the Second Generation CW series? Anyone know if this series still has the battery drain issues discussed here?
    Going to opt for the Nvidia 330 instead of Blueray. Getting Both is too expensive especially since it seems noone carries it configured that way. The units with BD seem to only have the Nvidia 310 I think the 330 is much more powerful for gaming and maybe video editing.
    Any opinions on this?

    You're correct with all that :) The GT330m is MUCH more powerful. 48 Stream Processors vs only 16SP's on the G310m, and a 128bit memory bus with the GT330m vs only 64bit for the G310m. I'd most definitely say go for the better graphics option, because that is one thing that isn't replaceable later on, like the BD-Drive will be. And unfortunately, it does have the battery drain issues though.

    I FINALLY got my CW27FX and i must say im proud of myself for getting the 330m version as I would have probably hated myself with the 210m/310m knowing that there was something double the performance out there.
