I have the 180N version running at 1.2, and I'm having issues doing something as simple as playing a DIVX file. I am using the latest version of the DIVX player, and both CPUs are cranking and I"m still getting frame dropouts, and glitches. If I go fullscreen, it is even worse.

Any hints as to what I can do to better enable this?

ditch vista and do a clean install. There is a lot of crap that is slowing down your system

Clean install of Ultimate? and then do I go through a huge process of driver installs? is there one app that installs all of the drivers like they have for lenovo's?

Also this is an HD rip -- the file is about 350MB in size, at about 640x480, 23fps. My other computers play it fine, this one barfs.

did u clean ur computer when u got it? otherwise it seems u still have all the bloatware slowing down ur performance. added the manual overclocking to 1.2 from 1.06. u should really reformat everything and just enjoy it as a clean unit.

The processor supports speedstep are you sure the power plan in control panel is set to maximum performance? Did you disable Aero?

Ditch Divx and google "All 4 1 Codec pack"

    Should resolve the issues.
