    Hi,
I'm new F13 user, and I'm curious if anyone else is using DVDFab to copy Blueray movies.

F13 laptop should ba able to burn 6x max, but i guess it depends on media as well. I have Verbatim 6x BD-Rs.

Last night i tried copying BD for the first time ever. Frst two tries didn't make it, as burning signifficantly slowed down to 0.2x after about 60%.

    any ideas why?

For third attempt, i used "main movie only" option, and burning was done in less than 20min! About 12GB worth of data.
    any help would be great

    thanks

I use to backup my blu-rays using dvdfab on my F11 , but the built in burning engine use to have problems, but in dvdfab you can use another burning engine , I used imgburn and it worked great.

Or you blu-ray burner might not like your vertribam blanks, I use to use maxell br-r and they worked fine, try changing the burning engine to imgburn first.

    thanks for the reply.

does anyone think using SONY Blueray discs is better choice ? I didn't thinks so as it is a PIONEER drive.

also, would it make difference if i used BD+R?

Hi, I'm rather curious to know whether Windows Explorer has built-in functions to burn files to a blu-ray drive? Like how Windows burns and sets up blank CDs and DVD discs when you first insert them?

Also, on the subject of discs. I noticed that there are variants of blank blu-ray discs (more specifically the DL ones); 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3. Just wondering, apart from the burning speed, what the key differences are? Like better reliability maybe?

    Cheers in advance.
