i just got my brand new S460 today only to find that it had a single dead pixel (or a stuck pixel?) on the screen. It only shows when the screen is black or dark, and it was really annoying when i was playing some dvds, because there is a blue dot in the middle of my screen. Im going to go to the place where i bought it tommorrow but after reading through this forum it seems that dealers are reluctant to take in notebooks unless they have 7 or more dead pixels. Anyone know how sony deal with dead pixels?

Sony probably requires several, but it's worth trying anyway. There was an article a while back in the news section about dead pixels, try a search for it.

I go t a couple pixels stuck on blue on my desktop lcd. Doesn't bother me at all. None on the ThinkPad though.
