Now that I look closer, I'm not sure if its dead pixel anymore. This is because if you look at it in a different angle, some of them dissappear (on a solid blue background) or change color (on a white background and some of them reappear. But I am sure the screen was not scratched in anyway. If they are not dead pixels, what are they and can they be fixed?

I did. There is definitely color distortion, but I am not sure if its due to ded pixel or not. On a blue background, they are black, and if you rotate the viewing angle, some of the black dissappear, and some reappear

Jordan, the newer screen like the Apple, Sony's PSP and now the Sony's notebooks all has some sort of angled screen, while most people can't tell a difference, but if you have little dust on the screen, you will notice a differnce by looking at the dust from different angles, some times they will disappear from one angle and reappear from another. Just like my iPod's screen, the dead pixles doesn't show up unless you look at it at a different angle.
