    Hi,

Would anyone please be able to assist me with finding out the default BIOS settings for a Sony VGN-AR51E laptop?

I had one of these laptops and it was particularly fast at running a web scraper program and using the same program on other machines has never been as fast. I think this may have been due to the BIOS settings for perhaps the LAN port of the hard drive.

I have tested the program, slowly eliminating variable such as O/S, time of day etc and the only thing left is the BIOS. Unfortunately, I no longer have the VGN-AR51 so would be grateful for a link or advice to the default settings.

    Thx
