Basically in speed mode, the computer won't display the native resolution of some external monitors. Yes, after installing the updates on the sony site. I tried this on two different 19' widescreens. Went to best buy and worked with them to update the driver of a display model and this also failed to show the native resolution of a 19' monitor. they offered me a refund, i'm not sure what to do.

After being escalated several levels up through Sony's tech support, they suggested there was a problem w/my graphics card and that i send it to them to have it replaced. I don't buy it, plus i can't be w/out my computer that long. Oy, what a pain.

If any of y'all have successfully (or not) output in speed mode to a 19' wide screen, please chime in.

I believe I also have the same problem. I just choose the resolution that's the best fit. Thought it was just how it works, but I guess not. Let us know how it goes!
