    Hi everyone,

My English isn't that good, but I'll try to keep the weird syntax and typo's to a minimum.

My sister owns a VPCF12C5E and she recently started to complain about battery life and charging issues. After a close inspection, i noticed that a piece of the power jack has broken off.
Before ordering a new jack (which isn't hard to find at all) i want to make sure i can replace it. However, i find that its hard getting to the motherboard so i can unplug it.

i watched all the video tutorials i could find, went true all the stickys, but i cannot seem to find an answer to my problem.

The back cover is really hard to remove. this video explains how to remove the back cover of a different vaio model, however these steps don't work on my model. The HDMI and VGA ports are embedded in the plastics of the back cover. I'm afriand that if i remove it with more force the motherboard will be destroyed.

Anyone here with a little more experience regarding sony laptops?
