What are people's views on deleting the recovery partition for the extra space?
I have already created recovery disks so I don't need that right?
Are the recovery discs bootable?

They ARE bootable, but unless you REALLY need the extra space, why bother to delete the recovery partition? It's a great insurance policy should the recovery disks become scratched or lost!

Depends on your knowledge. I'd much rather to a format/clean install before even thinking about using my recovery disc. If the drive itself becomes damaged, than that partition is useless anyway.

On the Sony FZ series, and some others, a clean install requires the use of some of the files on the recovery disk(s). That's why I suggest leaving the recovery partition in place. If you have to do a clean install and can't find the recovery disks or they are damaged you still have that partition to fall back on. If the 7 gig it takes up is so important that such insurance is not needed then delete it.

How can I delete the recovery partition? I am not going to do that, but I just want to know that. Is 7GB way too much space for recovery?
