Hello, I really need help as to fixing my vaio laptop, I bought it off a friend and took off the model number sticker on the bottom :( , Anyways one day when I tried to turn the Vaio on in was acting really weird and went REALLY slow, so I held the power button to re-boot it, and ever since then every time I turn it on it will load perfect up to where It says Windows XP loading and then A Blue Screen will come up saying "System Storage Dump", It wont let me go into Safe Mode Either and when I enter BIOS it asks for a Password which I have no clue as to what it is, Has anyone ever had this before? Or anyone can help me? Thank You!

I'm not sure how to get rid of the blue screen, unless you have recovery disks that you can use. As for the BIOS password you need to ask your friend about that. Since he sold it to you he should know, unless it was stolen but that's another matter.

i have the very exact problem but with some differences. after the windows xp screen i'd get a blue screen and immedately goes to black screen with no words on it. the only way for me to read what the blue screen contains is to record it with a camcorder. the only way for me to restart is to pull the plug out. holding the power button does nothing. no report of this was kept in event viewer. reinstallation using F10 (the hidden partition) did not help (actually it made it worse imo as it happens more frequently). this was from a new vaio sz 320

    hoping someone has a solution
the frequency of having this is about 1/10
