When I purchased my SZ160 at a SonyStyle retail store I also purchased a two year accidental damage extended warranty for $199 because I was told that if I did not purchase the extended warranty at the time I purchased the computer I wouldn't be able to purchase one later. I went ahead and bought the extended warranty since there was a 30 day return policy on it. A few days later I noticed on the sonystyle website that you can purchase an extended warranty up to 60 days from the computers date of purchase so I returned the warranty. Now it's almost 60 days since I bought the SZ160 and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and get one of the extended warranties before it's too late. I got mixed messages about the accidental warranty when it comes to if it is on site service or not. In the store I was told it is not on site but on the phone I was told it is.
Anyway, did you purchase an extended warranty for your SZ series and if you did which service plan did you get?

Extended warranties have been discussed numerous times here. Try the search first then if you have a more specific question, feel free to ask away.
