Forgive my ignorance in the matter, but I'm afraid I must ask. What exactly is the difference between these three models? All are 15.4" notebooks!

FZ is the replacement for the FE, the N series is the pretty vase with weaker specification than the FZ, FE series.
FZ is newer and have a DX10 capable GPU. -
The N series notebooks are primarily for users on a budget. It does not offer dedicated graphics card options.
The FE and FZ series have better quality and offer dedicated graphics card options, and are targetted at users who want more power and style. The FZ series is new, and should replace the FE series in time. -
Actually, Sony is no longer selling the FE on their site (it is still visible but so is the little red alert that says, " This product is no longer available for purchase."
You can still buy a customized FE but that should change soon. -
I guess that's why I got my FE for cheap then!
