On this page F Series : VAIO and Computing : Models : Sony you will see two models which I cant see any difference with:
VPCF12Z1E/BI VPCF12Z1E/BI (VPCF12Z1E/BI) : Technical Specifications : VAIO and Computing : Sony
VPCF11Z1E/BI http://www.sony.co.uk/product/vn-f-series/vpcf11z1e-bi
Other than the price?
Does anyone know the reason for these seemingly identical products, but the £200 more for the F12?
Thanks

F12 is the new model, F11 is last cycle's model. F12's will typically have the newer cpu's, although I can't click your links. F11 would have lower price due to them clearing them out.

Actually there are some difference between the two you linked :
- F11 got what I assume to be i7 720QM (1.6GHz [mentioned] and one core turbo boost to 2.8GHz) and F12 might got i7 740QM (1.73GHz and one core turbo boost to 2.93GHz [mentioned])
- F11 got 500GB 5400rpm HDD, whereas F12 got 500GB 7200rpm HDD
- F11 is called "F11" and F12 got the better name of "F12"
I think the third might be the reason for this 200£ increase of the price...
(and seriously processor and HDD upgrade represent less than 100£)
Difference in F series: F11 F12?
