    Difference in F series: F11 F12?

    F12 is the new model, F11 is last cycle's model. F12's will typically have the newer cpu's, although I can't click your links. F11 would have lower price due to them clearing them out.

    Actually there are some difference between the two you linked :

    - F11 got what I assume to be i7 720QM (1.6GHz [mentioned] and one core turbo boost to 2.8GHz) and F12 might got i7 740QM (1.73GHz and one core turbo boost to 2.93GHz [mentioned])

    - F11 got 500GB 5400rpm HDD, whereas F12 got 500GB 7200rpm HDD

    - F11 is called "F11" and F12 got the better name of "F12"


    I think the third might be the reason for this 200£ increase of the price...
    (and seriously processor and HDD upgrade represent less than 100£)
