How can I disable Turboboost and or Speedstep on a Vaio S with windows 7?
Didn't seem to find it in the BIOS, and setting the CPU settings to say 100% on power settings doesn't seem to fully disable either speedstep or turbo boost.

    Help!

you set the maximum CPU (and minimum, if it's set to 100%) to 99%, so it will never reach a stage at which TurboBoost kicks in.

Well, I did that, and I can still see TurboBoost kicking in from time to time with the TurboBoost monitor program I have installed...

    What else can I do?
