My new FZ290 seems to be losing GB's for no apparent reason. I haven't done any of the clean install things and I've only installed a couple programs of my own. But every few days, some HDD space seems to just vanish. Last night when I went to bed I had 134GB free. I started it up this morning and I have 131GB.

Any idea what's going on? Thanks

Shadow files, caching, just a bunch of system maintenance. Unless you need the space for something else, just let the OS do its job.

Nice link. Is there any downside in reducing that amount? It's set up at 20gb for me.. :D

EDIT:No matter, googled it, set to 5gb now. Thanks for the tip!
