    Im uninstalling some programs but not gaining any space.. Im actually losing space on my disk... I remember I once read what that problem was but cant remember.. any suggestions?

    System Restore might be creating restore points everytime you uninstall a program. If you haven't already reached your maximum allowed system restore space, try lowering the amount it can use. Also try running disk cleanup to clean out temporary files. The option to remove all but the most recent restore point will be there as well
