I read a lot about SONY Vaios freezing and/or showing either blue or black screens. Then I found out, that not only users with VAIO Computers complaind about these problems. First I thought there might be someting wrong the components used. Then I noticed, that Users with completly different setups complained about the same Issues.
Then I found articles written by a user, who discovered, that Windows 7, Intel 's Rapid Storage Technology (RST or iaStor) and SSD (any make) may generally not work together propperly, due to crappy firmware.
This issue often referd to as the "Windows 7 SSD freeze" comes along with crucial c300 SSD used on my vaio.
Have Vaio Care and Sony Helpdesk Employees ever heared about LPM and Trim options? If not, shame on Crucial, Intel and Sony as well.
