Differences between Standard (210-240) and Premium models (250-280):

    Premium models:

-Razor-thin screen, higher quality screens because of better lighting technology
    (brighter, uses less battery power),

-Lighter, Carbon casing as opposed to heavier, Magnesium casing
    (gray palmrest v. silver palmrest)
(see first link for pictures of casing and second link for pictures of palmrest)

-3.7 lbs. with standard battery as opposed to 4.1 lbs. with standard battery.

Integrated WWAN is included on select models (both standard and premium 2nd generation) with Cingular EDGE EVDO (requires paid activation for service) and SmartWii technology.

The first link highlights the features of the SZ series.
The second link highlights differences between Standard and Premium models according to Sony itself.

    http://www.learningcenter.sony.us/Notebooks/SZSeries/Research1/SZCompare

Differences between the First generation (VGN-SZ1X0), Second generation (VGN-SZ2X0):

    Second Generation Models (VGN-SZ2X0):

    -Bigger Hard Drives (storage size)
-On select models: built in antenna and integrated WWAN, Cingular EDGE EVDO service, SmartWii technology
-4x DVD writing in 1st Generation and Premium 2nd Generation models
(8x in Standard 2nd Generation models)
    -Bugfixes, overall improvements

The special 280 and 281 models

    280 and 281:

-Slightly more powerful T2500 Intel Core Duo Processor
    (2.00 Ghz, 2MB, L2 Cache)
    -2GB RAM

    281:

    -Special Carbon criss-cross weave casing
    (see first "features" link)

    Differences by very detailed specifications:

    2. See Option 3.
    3. Select country, series, model, proceed.
    4. Click on "Manual/Specs/Warranty"
    5. Download "Marketing Specifications."
    6. Compare desired models in PDF.

I hope this will help to clear up any confusion!

    a few question ...

1 ) About the codes and model number , are there meanings ? because England / US / Japan/ Msia all have different model numbers .. do they mean anything ? Example P/C , P/X , P/B and so on ..

    2) About that 281 model , it isnt available anymore ? where can i get the super premium version of SZ ?

That's why the SZ2x is more expensive than SZ1x. Further, could you go to this thread to see that, not all SZ2x have the same DVD±RW configuration.

That depends on where you buy it.

Sony uses different model coding for different regions.

The ones being discussed here are for USA.
