I have a Sony Vaio sz650n, and I'm trying to install XP with Vista already installed (dual boot).
I created a partition, but when I boot with xp cd, it won't see the new partition.

Can someone help me with the proper drivers I need so xp can see the partition.

You can help yourself by going to the search box at the top of this page and typing "XP SATA" without the quotes. Search is your friend!

Are you using XP SP2 install disks, for me it worked without any custom sony sata drivers. I install them later. Anyway Sony doesn't enable AHCI mode so you don' need the drivers beforehand. Something else is the issue.

No, I'm using XP SP1 disk.

I'm looking into slipstreaming SP2 into my XP CD... I had tried it some time ago, but didn't work and I didn't follow-up on it.
