    The title says it all. Do all VAIO SZs have LED-backlit screens?

    And...

    Dell has all kinds of coupons and deals going on for their computers all the time. Does Sony have anything like this for their VAIO laptops that could help offset their high cost any bit? Are there any student discounts? Are there any "Sony credit card"-type deals and discounts?

    afaik, no, only sz-premium or something has LED.
