What is your opinion on the quality of Sony keyboards? I'm looking at purchasing the FE series but, I'm curious what all Sony owners have to say.

In the store, I noticed some flex in the middle/upper right side. Not sure if this was just b/c it was the floor model or if other people have experienced the same thing? I'm used to a Thinkpad T40 for work so, maybe I've been spoiled by what many consider the best keyboard in the biz.

I think it's generally the case that moving from a Thinkpad keyboard to, well, anything else carries some implicit disappointment. ;) The keyboard on my SZ leaves a bit to be desired, but I think it's "fine."

i don't mind the SZ keyboard at all. (ive never used a thinkpad though)

IT took some time getting used to but now I like it over all other keyboards. I also like it that's it's a little loud and has big flat keys. The macbook keyboard seemed wierd to me when i tried it recently. (keys spaced out too much)

If I could, I would tear the blasted thing off and insert a Thinkpad keyboard in place.

I'll note that the keyboard on my non-premium SZ340's keyboard was much much much worse than the premium SZ360 keyboard I ended up with.
