    Do you use TPM?

    Just curious - does anyone out there use TPM? I think that I might end up uninstalling the stuff that comes with it/disabling it because it doesn't seem useful for me, and maybe it'll just take up more memory.

    Are you using Vista?

    Anyway for me, my notebook says it cant use the bitlocker drive encryption as it did not detect any TPM. Im assuming i dont have TPM.

    You don't need TPM to use Bitlocker.
    You can use a USB-Memorystick, too.

    I'm using Vista. I definitely have TPM and it keeps bugging me to go through /w the setup and such...but I won't bother if it's not something that'll be of use

    Make sure you have it enabled in the system BIOS. Mine was not enabled by default.

    Hi.
    I have a HP Compaq dc7800 PC and I would like to enable my Infineon TPM in the BIOS. Unfortunately I have no idea on how to do that, I haven't found anything resembeling this expression ("TPM") in my BIOS.
    HELP!!!!!!!!!
