I have the new Vaio Z2 connected to the docking station and an HDMI cable going out to my 52 inch television.

Once I did this, I noticed that my display automatically became double width. That is: I can see the normal display, and all my applications are only as wide as the current screen. But my mouse pointer will keep going and going and going to the right, well off the screen, never seeming to stop.

At one point I did a screen cap of something I wanted to save, and when I pasted it into Photoshop, it revealed what was going on (see below).

Can someone please tell me how to fix this? I have checked all settings and nothing is set to "double monitors" anywhere.

    Thanks.

I think I figured it out. For some reason when the docking station is attached, it forces the "double monitor" display (you can only see this by clicking function and the F7 key). I noticed when my mouse went off the right side of the television it appeared on the left side of my laptop monitor. I dont know why the docking station would default to this setting. Makes no sense. So I manually had to change it to "External Display only". Something I never had to do when I connected the laptop directly to the TV via HDMI....
