Hi there, I am thinking of getting a Sony Vaio with the AV Instant bootup thingy. I was just wondering if when you boot up and/or when you are watching a movie if you can check remaining battery life?

In particular, I am thinking of getting a CR353. If anyone has that particular model could they please comment on battery life in general also.

    Thanks, and Merry Christmas!

I can't remember for certain, but I don't recall ever seeing a battery life indicator on my TZ while in AV Mode. There should be a battery life indicator somewhere on the casing that will blink when the battery is getting low.

The AV Mode is pretty nice, but the battery life is used up quicker than booting up into Windows and playing the same DVD. At least that's the case with the TZ, not sure about the CR.

    Merry Christmas!
