    yea just wanted to clarify whether the fe38gp has a firewire port or not .....and whether it is 4 pin or 6 pin

    i guess fe38gp is equivalent to fe790...i'm not sure though!!

    k thnx..i guess sony refers to firewire as ilink..........btw is there any way i can connect a 6pin cable using an adapter or something??

    Yes, absolutely. That's what I do for my external hard drive. You can get a cable that goes 4-pin to 6-pin, or you can get an adapter plug that changes a 6-pin to a 4-pin so that you can use a 6pin-6pin cable.

    [email protected]'v been here for a while now...36posts....yea whirlpool was full of illiterate ppl...who cared more about how nicely spelled your words were rather than any technical info..and when it came to sharing knowlwdge each one came up with new stories without even researching..
