    Yeah, so does the Vaio F have a second bay? I'd really like to throw in a SSD to boost the boot time.

    Is anybody booting that often? I'm restarting my laptop like once per month.

    No secondary HDD bay on F (only on EC but it comes with the required cable/connector only if you order it with 2 drives).

    Anyway, it's easy to put a SSD instead the optical drive as described here: http://tinyurl.com/2v88hs3

    Look for "12.7mm SATA TO SATA HDD caddy" on eBay, the best seems to be an item like 180525217001, made by Fenvi. It's $9 plus some shipping, installs in minutes.
