I decided to give the Tz series a break so i am going to the faster( ..and heavier) SZ series. I really hate to leave the TZ, great little laptop, but is just a little slow for my requirements ( especially after i "wake" him up in the sleep mode), so i am willing to have an extra 600 grams in my backup for the extra speed.

What i wanted to know is :

Does the Evdo service works in Europe? we have 3G(umts) , Edge and now the HSPDA ( 7.2 mb) .

Has anybody bought a SZ from the USa and using it in Europe with a sim card?

    Thanks in advance,

No, Sprint EVDO does not work in Europe or anywhere outside of the US. In addition, there's no sim card.

If you buy a local simcard then you shouldn't run into any problems in Europe. A lot of providers (Vodafone, T-Mobile) have HSPDA or UMTS services for internet on the go.
