    How can I downgrade my Vaio Z540 Vista Home Premium to XP.
    I try to install with the XP disk and it crash.
    I want to order a downgrade disk from sony but they don't offer them.
    Does any one know how can I downgrade my Sony Vaio Z? Vista is so slow and so much problems :)

    Vista isn't slow - you've got too much crap on your system for its available resources. Vista is faster than XP if using the right edition, configured properly with the right amount of RAM.

    You're going to have even more problems if you keep going down the XP downgrade road - no matter how hard you try, there will always be at least one or two drivers you won't find because they don't exist for your system, and Sony won't help you because they don't support the downgrade.

    Your best option is to figure out why your system is slow to begin with - start with any background processes, and crapware like Norton, which will overload any system's resources.

    Or, if you want to keep knocking your head against a wall.....
