I bought a new Sony Vaio laptop which came with Windows 8 and I did not like 8 so I purchased a copy of Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium.

The installation went well, other than the Network Controller drivers not working or being able to be updated. So I don't have wireless on my laptop basically, I have to plug the ethernet cable direct into laptop in order to get online.
I called Sony they said this new laptop model is not compatible with the Windows 7 wireless lan drivers so I was wondering if anybody knew any other ways around this?
The Tech Support guy said that the software guys probably working on drivers that will work with 7, but at this time there's no options.

I don't want to have to go back to Windows 8.
    Please help.

I 'fixed' this problem tonight by purchasing a Netgear N150 USB Wireless Adapter and installing the drivers. Worked great.
