I have a Sony VGN-AR570 with Windows Vista x64, and I have no idea where to find this device driver. Any ideas, anybody???

"SNY5001" usually means a device called Sony Firmware Extension Parser or something like Sony Notebook Control. Apparently it's responsible for special key input at least.

In your case it should be called SFEP, go to http://www.vaio-link.com/os/vista/64bit/
and search for the "SFEP" driver download.

(Same driver works on my AR51 but since I cannot get all special key utilities to work on 64, I simply disable this device, don't even bother installing SFEP driver and Sony utilities.)
