    Hi
I used the semi clean install thread to get rid of the annoying bloatwares.

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/sony/146033-how-optimize-any-sony-vaio-semi-clean-install.html

Then I setup latest Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx and is working fine.

Dual-Boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu in Perfect Harmony - windows 7 - Lifehacker

One issue though, while installing drivers using Vaio Recovery Center, I am not able to install -
    1. Intel Graphics drivers. (error: The system doesn't meet minimum requirements)
    2. IPS drivers (error: same as above)

Although everything seems to be working fine but I can't seem to observe the crispness the display had before clean install. I remember watching a HD video on the full HD (1920x1080) screen and go WOW!! But now the wow seems to be missing. Is it because of these drivers or some other configuration?
