It doesn't say if the Vista drivers are 64-bit. I've installed all of the drivers listed for windows 7 x64, but my Fn keys don't work, no power management, no smart wifi, etc.

    Those directions did NOT help.

    1. the drivers are x86. for instance, the alps touchpad driver will not run. says to get the 64 bit driver.

    2. my fn keys still don't work.

Search is your friend. There are a number of Windows 7 clean install guides in this forum. See the sticky at the top.

I'm just curious as to why you are running a 64bit OS on the TZ... Doesn't it only support upto 2GB RAM? And I'm sure 64bit OSes consume more RAM than their 32bit counterparts.

Sony officially does NOT support the TZ with W7 drivers. As such, you have to make-do with the Vista drivers. They do work, most of the time. Just don't let Windows 7 default install everything. Install the Sony Vista drivers, and considering those are quite outdated now, AFTER doing the driver installation you can go to DEVICE manager and try updating a few components (to make sure you have the latest driver).

Installing the Sony ones first makes sure you have the latest driver if UPDATE DEVICE DRIVER in device manager doesn't work.
