    Drivers for sony vaio VGN-TXN27CN

    I installed windows xp to my sony vaio VGN-TXN27CN, but some drives don't work. As the sony site for drivers says:
    " Because these computers are optimized for use with Windows Vista operating system, some functionality will be lost under Windows XP operating system.

    The following applications and utilities may experience functional limitations:

    * Hot Keys: Some function keys may not work correctly.
    * Special Buttons[/COLOR]
    * VAIO Power Management: Since the camera driver is not Windows XP WHQL certified, the battery life may be shorter than is normal.
    * Battery Care: Since the camera driver is not Windows XP WHQL certified, the battery life may be shorter than is normal.
    * Bluetooth: BroadCom® Bluetooth software does not work.

    * Wireless Switch Setting

    I put only the drivers that i'm interested. Does somebody now if There are compatibles drivers? and where?

    I own TXN27N as well, and the drivers sony put on their website are crapy, they have put driver's on FTP site, and they are the right drivers..

    I don't know why they put the crapy one for every one, and had this back door for only choosen on one notebookreview.com :)

    any way try these.. all the drivers work 100%

    I have been using Win XP on my TXN27N for past 8 months or so, and absolutly love it...

    It kicks a$$ on Win XP ... every driver works great .. enough talking .. .here is the link

    grab the zip folder.. and go one by one.. I will try to find the order you have to install..

    I had put a nice compilation togeather a while ago, have to find it some where.

    Don't use the bluetooth driver from Sony Vaio Support Website, it will not work with TXN27N... atleast it didn't work with mine...

    Use the one from FTP ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/pub/OS/XPDOWNGRADE/TX5/
    only then your bluetooth will work
