    Hi Guys,
    Recently i bought a VGN-FZ21M second hand laptop from a guy. the machine was originally released with vista home pre, but seller installed Windows 7 Ultimate. now i need all the necessary drivers. i had been to sony website and didn't find all the drivers i need.

    There is no touch pad driver, memory card reader driver, webcam driver. i even don't know what touch pad driver i need. plz guys help me finding drivers for this specific model....

    Hi,

    If you don't find a driver 'install' for your laptop & OS then what you can do is look up all the devices which don't have a driver or are showing as not recognised/installed in the device manager. On one of the property tabs you should find a device ID code. Get this code and google it, at best you will find a driver, at worse you will find a manufacturers name and model number. With this you can go to the manufacturers website and download drivers from there which you can try.

    Most of the drivers you will need are part of the AR & FE package I made (see my signature)... if something is still not working after installing the whole package, ask again, ok?

    There is an entire thread devoted to clean installs of both Vista and Windows 7 on this forum. A quick search should turn up both. They have links to all the drivers specific to the FZ series.
