I just picked up a Z laptop. Got the docking station the VGP-PRZ1. The dock has a vga and DVI connector. When I connect two monitors to the dock the software will only allow me to turn one on. I get an error "this gpu only supports a single display"

Does that mean I can not use 2 external monitors? If not then this puppy is going back.

You can only have the laptop display +1 other monitor. Or close your notebook lid, and you can have 2 external displays I believe. Only the new ATI 5xxx series allows you to have more than 2 seperate displays, it's called EyeFinity.

Just tried it out with the lid closed. Now under what monitors I can activate is show both external monitors but when I go and select the second monitor it says that the gpu only supports one monitor :(
