    Evening all, all evening.

I own a Vaio VPCEC1M1E. 17.3'' screen and the core i3 etc. Bought it about 12 months ago.

    Fantastic laptop.

Anyway. I've noticed that there is space for two Hard Drives in the laptop. So about a month ago. I sought about looking for the cable I needed to fit the 2nd HDD. (256GB SSD ideally.) Anyway. I found a few threads somewhere saying you could only get one from Sony if you had the make/model of laptop that had one in as standard. As Sony don't "approve" of this "modification". Even though the case allows for it.

Now I did find the cable I needed on a random site. However it's from the US. And after shipping and all other things. It's about $130. Or possibly £130. I don't remember.

Was there any laptop that had two hard drives as standard? And is their anyway I can get one of these twin HDD cables instead of the standard single?

As title mentions. Apologies if repost. I did search for my laptop model on this site. (Seems it doesn't even exist. And didn't find anything in the E Series Owners Lounge.)

    Any info would be sweet.

Oh and I'm assuming Sony don't do Service Manuals or anything like that? Don't need as such. I'm pretty clued up on how it works etc. But would be a good read.
