The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I noticed that when I just push the button to eject a dvd or cd and put something new in, the computer still thinks the old one is in there, and wont run the new one...
    But, if i go to my computer and right click and eject with the mouse I have no problems.
    Is there a way to be able to just push the button, and not have to go to my computer?
    Has anyone else noticed this weirdness?
