My new Sony Vaio I ordered will be arriving soon. I did some research and the main criticism about the new laptop appears to be the short battery life.
I saw this battery on amazon for the Sony Vaio E series. Link
I was wondering would this give extra battery life if I bought it? I think the battery shipped with the Vaio is 3500mah but this new one is 5000mah. How many extra hours would it give? Just wondering if it is worth it or not.
Also is the battery for the 15.5" screen size E series or the other sizes?

See how your battery that comes with the E series goes before you look for an extended battery. My general cautiousness suggests that you stick with a genuine Sony battery, but I don't that much about 'other' batteries.

I've ordered the extended battery to go with my EA. I plan on selling the standard 3500mah battery. I don't have the laptop yet (due in 2wks) but I can post some battery run time info when I get it all.
