does the large capacity battery add any bulk to the VPCEB290X series ?

is there similar screen bleed as is found on the 1600x900 res VPCF1290X ?

yes,The larger capacity battery(9 cell) will add bulk to the laptop and it will form a bump at the rear, so go for a 9cell battery only if you can live with that annoying bump at the rear which frankly spoils the looks of the laptop but on a positive note you get much better battery life and also a cooler laptop as it will be slightly raised from its base due to extended battery.
