    Ebates Discount?

    I just ordered a Vaio Z, and I had heard people mentioning something about the ebates discount. I created an account on ebates and called sony to see if I could get the discount or cancel and reorder, and the representative and their manager said that they knew nothing about it and that Sony had no partnership with ebates. What's going on with that? Can I get the 100 or so off, or is it not true?

    I also had an Ebates coupon for 5% off a $799.99+ purchase on the FW series, and it never worked when I called to get the discount. There is definitely something wrong here.

    dude. instead of bumping the thread twice in 24 hrs, do a little research of your own.

    mixed signals on ebates. some people are happy, others say it's a scam.

    Ebates is good! this is confirmed by me. however, I don't think you can possibly get $100 off from the Z. 40-50 is probably doable.
