How much power one can save by turning off bluetooth. Is it worth to turn off bluetooth keeping wireless on while on battery power.

If you're not using any bluetooth devices, then leave it turned off.

yes, I've tried that and didn't notice much difference. I found many posts here asking about how to turn off bluetooth, but didn't give any reason for doing this. So, I was wondering if there are any standard tests to measure it.

I've read it some place, but I want to know if it improves batterylife or something, or why do they recommend to turn it off.
