    hi folks have a vaio VGN-FZ38M bios ver R2110J7

    can someone tell me the easiest way to enable the virtualisation on the processor?

    also why is it that with sony machines you see no info in the bios?
    ie no info on the cpu etc.??

    i have just done it yipee... using a dos boot usb pen and the method on this site

    when i run the check tool it says virtualisation locked on!

    In addition to what Rajesh told you, there is a link in my signature line that will take you to a table (in the same thread) that lists all of the known successes with this method, it includes model numbers BIOS Versions and the specific register you need to change. If you cannot find your model listed look and see if you BIOS version is in the list, that is really the important thing when using the table. If you are successful, please leave us a note in the other thread so I can add your model to the growing list.
