Buying laptops on the SonyStyle, we can use this option. If yes, what do you usually engrave? First name, winged expressions (Latin)?
    Excuse my English

If I was to engrave my laptop, I would engrave my first name, middle initial and my last name or maybe I'll replace my middle initial with a nickname. But to be honest, I wont advice anyone to engrave their laptop from sonystyle because engraved laptops can not be returned

Also engraved laptops have poor resale value.

agree with omega05 and x2p. engraving is not a good idea unless you're ABSOLUTELY sure you won't be returning the laptop. even then, you can't account for a hardware issue cropping up.

personally, if a hardware issue comes up during the first 30 days (or whatever refund period is), i automatically return for refund. no use messing with repairs when i can just get a new one.

I'm with Carl. The display on my first FZ was questionable, so I returned it and got another. If it was engraved, I would have been stuck.
