Did anybody encountered this problem with the "leather" on the palm rest on F13 going larger and larger until it won't fit the original recessed shape?

This happened over a year of using this as my main computer, lots of typing with wrists resting on that fake leather (the left side got enlarged too).
It's still perfectly glued and in its original shape only around the touchpad, where no pressure (probably from wrists) was on it but got progressively larger towards the edges.
Now I can't simply glue it back cause it's way larger: if I try to fit the margins, it pops in the middle. And it's larger not only up-down but also left-right.
What the F should I do about it?
(been searching the net for a replacement but couldn't find this "premium" one, only the solid ones. In the end I may replace it with a solid version, don't know)

I have a similar notebook computer Sony model VPCF137HG. The top quality premium exclusive crocodile skin palm rest is coming off in the exact same location at the right of the touch pad as though this photo had been taken by myself. I think I'll just glue mine back in place. I can't believe that a prestigious company like Sony can opt for such cheap components. Maybe you can pesuade them to send you one free, that is if they care about their reputation. I initially thought that some one had surreptitiously opened my notebook to install a serveillance device and did a botched job at glueing back the "genuine leather" palm rest. It is a relief to know that it was just my wild imagination. No wonder they are offering the solid version which is less likely to melt away like butter.
