Manual folders/files deletion and cCleaner are what I use. Now when you are talking about hidden files, then it is another situation altogether.

A clean install in your case?

    cheers ...

yeah as qhn said , CCleaner is the best program ive seen so far and that i use, it clears away the free space, becuase when you delete something, it shows its gone, but its still there, until you copy another file to your hard drive it over writes it, so it cleans that up and i use it on such things as all those extra windows things and cookies and temp files and every 2 weeks i manage to clean 2-4GB, thats alot :D, the picture of the list you've posted, some of the things i guess you need, others it depends on the user, but usally most of it is all bloatware and just slows you computer down ALOT, ill see if i can get a detailed list of each service and then you can decide if it is useful to you and delete whatever you want :)

Actually there is a secure delete in CCleaner. In options then settings there is a place to select secure delete and the number of overwrites.
I cannot imagine not having CCleaner.

umu, I reckon a format and recovery would do the trick, unless I'm misunderstanding something about the situation and what the OP actually wants done..

Not at all. OP mentioned hidden files, no clean deletion as I am personally aware of - thus the clean install suggestion ;-)

    cheers ...

Nah, i'm not wanting a clean install. I'm just wanting all sony's BLOATWARE off the laptop, but don't want to remove something I shouldn't.
