Just bought a new sony Z128GG (i7, fullHD screen, 256GB) and when starting up it gives me an error message on boot as shown below:

When it goes into windows it works fine, just wondering what does the error mean and is it normal?

I don't think that is normal with these errors. Your 256GB RAID 0 has 4 SSD's, 3 of them show an error but the RAID shows status normal. What is the disk drive capacity in Windows?
I don't know if someone else knows about this issue here in the forum but I would contact Sony or go to a Sony store.

I think Im just going to take it back now and try to get a replacement. When I start up windows intel rapid storage keeps telling me an error has occurred on one of the disks. I can actually get the 3 disks to be back to normal by restarting them using the intel software since I tried it on one of the three but I'm not going to risk it and I am going to take it back to Sony and see if they will replace the laptop since I only bought it today.

I don't know the WEI and won't be able to test it now as I have put it back into the packaging now, sorry.

Keep in mind, with RAID 0 you can have data loss when one drive fails.
If the data is distributed evenly between the disks (like at a normal hardware RAID 0) then you will have data loss when one dives completely fails because it'll break the whole RAID.

Which is why I thought it was weird, in Raid 0 if any disk breaks data loss occurs yet windows loaded up and showed all the HD space...

The RAID member disks aren't failed, just have an error. If this were the case you wouldn't be booting to Windows.

Run a "Verify" pass in the Intel Storage app. It may repair the condition, but you are right to get it serviced.

Also, the serial numbers are off-sequence which is strange to me. Looks like your SSD's may have come from two different production-passes. Not a huge deal since they are still the same model, but this is the first time I've seen that.
