Assume prices are "reasonable" (or acceptable), would you DEFINETEY buy a Z series with a BluRay drive in Europe?

That's an odd question, because prices wouldn't be reasonable... at least not whilst Blu-ray and SSDs are both 'premium' options rather than the standard.
IF prices were reasonable, I'd have one (as long as it still burnt dual layer DVDRs, of course!).
I'm not bothered about BD, but I'd have an SSD if it was decent capacity for a reasonable price. -
I would not buy a Bluray drive. If it was possible, I would get a Z without DVD drive and without Nvidia GPU. Maybe it would weigh 1.25kg.
I do want SSD, but not at the prices Sony is charging. -
I am just trying to see what people want.
I think we have to accept there will be a premium for either option, so what I am trying to say is, if sony dont charge Stupid money (subjective, I know), would you pay the extra for either?
To my mind, for BR I would prob pay £300 more, but no more than that at this time. -
If prices are acceptable and reasonable depends on individuals. SSD would be great but sizes are not very large so thats a no for me. I need space more than i need speed at the moment.
blueray would be great but the price is going to be ridicolous. the oo7 Sony Z is 3k in the uk and that has ssd and blueray, who going to buy it apart from someone who is rich and\or a 007 fan.
Minus the 007, i think that model would sell for £2500, too too expensive.
I'm happy what i paid for mine and will be for years unless Sony release a neon blue backlit keyboardon the Sony Z. I will be doing a self upgrade to SSD in the future once sizes increase and prices come down.
Blueray drive hopefully be more widely available by then too and reasonable prices.
Bascially, my answer right now is no as the prices are not reasonable.
Sorry, not being rude.
