This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    European Vaio TZ11XN Bios Update

    This came out last week (October 3rd) via the VaioLink Support area.

    Also out on October 5th was an update to Vaio Smart Network 1.0 to upgrade to 1.0.00.06150.

    I installed the Bios update and have noticed a slight improvement in WLAN performance after resuming from hibernate where I often had to disable and re-enable the adaptor. I haven't done any specific testing, that's just my first impressions after a couple of days.
