Hello. I have a quick question: I would like to know where can I find the Expresscard 34 for the Vaio Z in the Device Manager section. I checked but I can't find under which exact name it is there. Hope someone can help. Thanks.

If you plug something in the slot, you will see ....ExpressCard.... in the Dev. Manager.

Thanks for the reply. But I don't uderstand why then I can see the SD Card reader or the Memory Stick reader for example when there's nohing inserted on them. Shouldn't the expresscard reader device appear like those ones as well?

ExpressCard slot is not only for storage. You can plug-in Serial card, ESATA card, HSDPA card and more. In these kind of card it can't display as drive.
The MS and SD drives you mention may not 100% exist when the slot is empty. If you use drivers from Sony it will be there when it is empty. If you use some newer driver from other brand, it will disappear when you remove the card.

In the Device Mangler(tm), click View and select "Show Hidden Devices". It will now show up under "PCMCIA adapters".
Even though strictly speaking, expresscard isn't PCMCIA[*], it's classified as such.

    [*]: Pronounced "puckmuckia"
