    Hi,
Does anyone have advice on expresscard to pccard adapters that
work with vaio FW11L. I intend to plug an echo audio IO soundcard into
    the pccard.

I have seen two products from Addonics and DuelAdapter in particular
    http://www.addonics.com/products/host_controller/adexc34cb.asp
    http://www.synchrotech.com/products-expc/expresscard-pcmcia-pc_cardbus_dueladapter_01.html
as well as a number on newegg
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...MATCH&Description=expresscard+cardbus&x=0&y=0

second site shows incompatibilty with Sony GN-CR123 E, VGN-CR203 E
    VGN-F2180 E/B
I believe chip manufacturer for 1349 host controller may be the important
criteria (Sony seems to use Ricoh)

Concerns I have seen on web with other laptop brands are latency and/
or clicking/popping introduced in audio stream from soundcards and
bsod's from adapter alone (independant of the type of pccard)

    Thanks, Paul

I would buy at a reputable dealer. I had to go big to small so it was less pricey. I do not need it portable anymore so I have an evdo router to plug it into.
